Download a setup (.exe) file, run it and provide the necessary details to register your device:

1 Enter your valid email address.
2 Create and confirm your password.
3 Select the necessary storage drive (or drives for multiple registration).
4 Read and agree to the Terms of Service and click 'Register'.

After registration has completed you can run an .exe file as a startup file to
open the program window.

after registration,
you will see a program window

1 Hiding

Immediately hide all files and folders contained on your device by clicking 'Hide'. To make hidden files and folders visible again, run the program, enter your password (the one you selected during registration) and click 'Unhide'. If you don't remember your password, click 'Forgot password?' and use a password reset form

Note:

- If you (or somebody else who uses your device) copy new files/folders to it, when the program is closed, they will remain visible. If you select 'Hide all' checkbox when running the program, they will be hidden too
- If you (or somebody else who uses your device) copy new files/folders to it, when the program is running, they will be hidden too after closing
- Selecting 'Unhide all permanently' checkbox before clicking 'Unhide' makes all files and folders visible again

2 Locking

Lock your device and restrict access to its contents by clicking 'Lock', available free space on your device will be disguised. To unlock your device, run the program, enter your password (the one you selected during registration) and click 'Unlock'. The locking function is free and remains available even after the trial period expires.

3 Secure online storage

For storing the most important files, use 2 GB of free secure online storage space (50 Gb, 100 Gb, 250 Gb, 500 Gb or 1 Tb available with paid premium membership).
To access secure online storage click 'Secure online storage' in the program window go to http://lockmydrive.com/site/storage.

LockmyDrive Crypter

Run LockmyDrive (.exe) file that appeared on your device after registration, you will see a simple window with the only field for entering password and no other signs identifiable with any data security software. Only after entering a valid password you will see a program window. If you don't remember your password, click 'Forgot password?' and use a password reset form

1 Hiding

Immediately hide particular files/ folders by dragging them to 'My secure folder' that will appear on your device and clicking 'Hide'.If you select 'Hide all' checkbox all the files and folders contained on your device will be moved to 'My secure folder' and hidden. To make 'My secure folder' and its contents visible again, run the program, enter your password (the one you selected during registration) and click 'Unhide'

2 Locking

Lock your device with inability to copy new files by clicking 'Lock', available free space on your device will be disguised. To unlock your device, run the program, enter your password (the one you selected during registration) and click 'Unlock'. The locking function is free and remains available even after the trial period expires.

3 Encryption

Encrypt all or some of your files and folders for better protection. Run the program, right click any file/folder or a group of files/folders and select InstantEncryption (for immediate encryption) or StrongEncryption (enhanced and more reliable encryption) from the context menu. Then, if you'd like to hide the encrypted files/folders, move them to 'My secure folder'. To decrypt files/folders, run the program, enter your password, right click on the encrypted file/folder or a group of files/folders and select Decryption in the context menu, or simply double click the encrypted file/folder

4 Secure online storage

For storing the most important files, use 2 GB of free secure online storage space (50 Gb, 100 Gb, 250 Gb, 500 Gb or 1 Tb available with paid premium membership). To access secure online storage click 'Secure online storage' in the program window or go to http://lockmydrive.com/site/storage

Force majeur: If the software has been accidentally or intentionally deleted from your device, or in case of device formatting, register it on your device once again with the same data (e-mail and password). In case of your storage device loss or stealing, we will deactivate the program. All the hidden/encrypted files and folders will remain invisible and inaccessible to others. Then, we'll provide you with a new license for free.
